Alicia Farris
Art provides the opportunity to capture and share the spirit and personality of a subject, whether animate or not. I like to think that the most important elements in my work are light and color, as the possibilities of how one relates to the other are infinite.
Farris’ work has been included and recognized in numerous National and International exhibits including the Western Federation, Southwestern and Northwestern Watercolor Societies. She is most proud of her recent accomplishment of achieving signature status in the Internationally renowned and prestigious National Watercolor Society, based in Los Angeles, CA.
Farris was commissioned to create 9 large paintings for the Museum of the Bible in Washington, D.C, showed her work recently in China and Barcelona Spain and was featured in Missouri Life Magazine and the French Magazine, The Art Of Watercolour.
