Earline Padgett
Earline Padgett began painting in 1981 when her husband signed her up for art classes as a Christmas gift. Painting opened up the world for this small town girl. Earline taught her first SDP convention class in 1984 and since then, has taught oil and watercolor classes at seminars and conventions across the United States and Canada.
In addition to her classes, Earline has written magazine articles for numerous art publications and demonstrates for Silver Brush Limited at many national and international conventions. She is a member of The National Society of Decorative Painters, The Florida Watercolor Society, The Decorative Artists of Jacksonville and The Art Guild of Orange Park.
Earline enjoys sharing her knowledge of various painting techniques with her students. Some of her favorite subjects to paint are the flowers growing in her in yard and the nearby beach. Earline has been using the same Black Velvet® Oval Wash brush for over 20 years. She loves it so much that she had her name engraved into the ferrule!
