Jeffery Hirst
Jeffrey Hirst has exhibited his work throughout the United States and Europe since 1990 and has his MFA from Louisiana State University and BFA from the University of Minnesota and his work has been showcased at both national and international venues.
Hirst has been a visiting artist at universities around the United States conducting painting and printmaking workshops and has taught workshops at NCSW-Bennington College in VT, Arrowmont School for the Arts in TN, Truro Center for the Arts in MA, Cullowhee Mountain Arts in NC, and has been an annual presenter at the International Encaustic Conference in MA.
In addition, Jefferfy is the owner of Hirst Printmaking, a printmaking shop specializing in intaglio, hybrid processes, screenprinting, and experimental approaches towards combining printmaking and painting. In 2005, he pioneered the process of combining silkscreen and encaustic painting and has conducted workshops on the process throughout the United States.
