Rosie Huart
Rosie is a mixed media artist and loves to express her creativity through calligraphy, poetry, painting, creative writing, papermaking and bookmaking. She delights in challenging herself and is always looking for her next artistic adventure.
Rosie believes the making of art—as a transformative process—impacts the soul's search for meaning, whether it is poetry, painting, paper-making, calligraphy, or creative writing. She has studied throughout the United States and abroad.
Rosie Huart graduated with degrees in Mental Health Technology from Sinclair Community College and double majors in Art and Psychology from The University of Dayton. She teaches workshops and retreats, both nationally and internationally. She is self-published and also is included in numerous book publications. Since 2005 she has taught Painting & More classes at Sinclair Community College. Rosie displays her work on a permanent basis at The ARTery at Front Street located in downtown Dayton and the Village Artisans in Yellow Springs.
